2/6/08: Little thing I want to tell you:

As you have seen, I've just released, last week two versions of protectme, you might wonder two things:
-Why two releases in the same week?
-Why the fuck isn't protect me flashed yet?

I'll try to answer those two questions right here for you ^^

So, last week I saw on PSPGEN a news about an homebrew which was submited to PSP-HACKS contest, so I just went on psp-hacks, saw the contest, got charmed, and decided to present an update of protectme (why protectme? well because it's my best app I think, and most useful, and, because this contest would help me improve protectme in a very short lapse of time (yes, it motivated me a lot!)), so I made this update quite quickly, as I only had three days to give the admin my entry... In 2 hours, I finished the first release, which added the alarm sound (the last big feature I wanted protectme to have).

But then, 31st of may, which was D-Day (deadline was at 23:59h eastern time, which means about 5 in the morning in france I think), I thought "hey, why not try to improve it as much as I can, correcting any bug, and making a 'perfect' version, ready to be flashed?" so, after my math class, saturday afternoon, I spent my whole day in front of my PC trying to improve protectme as much as I could, and, I think I reached a point where I can't do anything else for protectme... (but correct a little bug, in hour display...). This released was submited on time to the admin, and I'll get the result next sunday... (I know I won't win, I'm just making this for fun, not for glory nor money (but I wouldn't refuse the reward... lol)).

As I think there is nothing more to do with protectme, I think I can call this vesion a "Pre-Flashed" Version, and I'll be able to focus on flashing it rather than on correcting bugs/improving the interface/adding features, and so, the next time you see a protectme release, here or on an onther website, you can be sure that it is a flashed version ;)

Now, I think I've answered the two questions... If you misunderstood something or whatever, send a mail ;)

1/6/08: Small announce:
Just a little thing I wanted to tell everyone, it is that Protectme V0.92, which you can find here is compatible with the brand new Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN (made by an unknown guy called miriam), so, you should npot have anyproblem with it (I say that because yesterday some people were asking me ;))
31/05/08: ProtectMe Release 0.92:
Here Is the latest release of protectme! Yes, Again, I know...

What's new?
-Now when the alarm is played, the PSP volume is automatically set to Maximum volume (noisy little trick ^^)
-An option menu has been added (working with a file which is ms0:/seplugins/config.mtb)
-In the option menu you can set to play the alarm sound after 3 wrong passwords or not.
-The Credits have been updated
-The Credit, The option, and the set password menues have been modified so you can more easily exit (exit jey used to be different in each menu, now it's the same.)
-Now, when you set the password, a confirmation message is displayed, telling you what password you are trying to set, and asking you if you still want to set it or not.
-Colors have been changed in some menues (No more red, it was too much 'agressive' wasn't it?)
-Menus have been optimised
-Now splash screen is only displayed at first use, and then it isn't (so you can access menu faster...)
-The On Screen Keyboard has been modified, it used to be kind of complicated (when you pressed up or down, you never happened to go to the letter you wanted to go to... now you should!)
-Many minor bugs have been corrected ...
