no, that is the WORST thing you can do. get a PSP now, but choose either a used 1k or a new 2k/3k there are known exploits in 6.10 and the current one is in 5.03

the longer you wait, the more likely you are to find 6.20 PSPs, and thus all the longer you have to wait for an exploit for CFW

as long as you are careful, you will NOT brick your PSP. I have only bricked 2, ever. both I restored with pandora and both I was messing with flash0

Hey again guys!
So, I recently bought a fine psp-1004, just barely used (4~5h of gameplay), in perfect conditions (I couldn't resist it ).
I'm still not sure if it comes with CFW already installed, since I'm only getting my hands on it on wednesday.
It doesn't include a pandora battery, but I've seen that it can be hacked using chickhen, so that shouldn't be a problem, I just need to follow a simple tutorial.

I think I'll put 5.50GEN-D3 on it once I get it
