What exactly does the "Make Pandora Battery" option do?

 What exactly does the "Make Pandora Battery" option do? I have a friend with a PSP-2006 with 5.50 GEN-D3 installed. He had accidentally selected the Make Pandora Battery option, and now his PSP fails to read his memory stick. What can be done to reverse the damage?

Re: What exactly does the "Make Pandora Battery" option do? Reinstall the 5.50 GEN-D3 (XGEN kit, MS probability working) or test another Memory Stick, test its Memory Stick on your PSP...

Re: What exactly does the "Make Pandora Battery" option do? 1. Take the battery out and put your psp on d/c power and switch it on.
2. Go into recovery menu and put your battery back in.
3. Select the option to make normal battery.
This converts your battery back to normal and it should work. If not, do what Zakuya said and re-install 5.50GEN-D3.
Hope this helped.
P.S. steps 1 and 2 may sound stupid but you need to do it to boot up your psp with a pandora battery.

Re: What exactly does the "Make Pandora Battery" option do? If you select the "Make Pandora Battery" option, did your battery really become a Pandora Battery?
