1) I play MGS Peace Walker JPN on 5.50 GEN-D2 for weeks.

2) Last playthrough, i quit the game after saving

3) Decide to turn it on to listen to some music

4) Push power button up.

5) No lights light up

6) Removes battery and plugs in AC adapter

7) Tries to power on

8) Still no lights

9) Put battery back in and connects AC adapter

10) Charging light turns on

11) "Recharges" battery for an hour until charging light turns off

12) Tries to power on

13) Still no lights

is this a hardware problem?

tl;dr -> psp does not activate even when battery is removed and AC charger connected

updte: okay i opened the psp up and i think i've got a broken power switch board maybe. i can turn the psp on fine by brushing my screwdriver on the power connectors. :/ what spare part do i need to order to fix this?

Try with a pandora and a MMS it will work or else it probably a hardware problem !

i opened it up and verified that the power switch is broken.

i am still able to turn on my psp with the ''brush-screwdriver-on-contact-points" method but that also means i am not able to turn off my psp if i know whats good for me.

Buy another power switch button they are avaible in many website !
