Message vhs menu
ok so this is my problem. I have a psp 3004 with the CFW 5.03Gen-C(full) and when I press "select" it doesn't show me the vhs/recovery menu. My friend has a 3000 series that we updated to 5.03Gen-C(full) and when we pressed "select" the menu came up. I think that the guy that "unlocked" my psp messed up because I was inspecting the "en_recovery.txt" file that was in the MS and it shows some stuff about the pandora:

that files shows clearly that he could access the vhs/recovery menu before... but now I try to do it and it doesn't work. I've completely uninstalled the CFW, formatted the MS and restored the psp to default settings and then proceeded to install everything again and it fails to open the menu. can someone tell me what's wrong? =(

This file is juste the translation file.

2 solutions for you :
- install ultimate vsh menu (alternative vsh menu, and you can install a plugin without the recovery by adding "1" (enabled) at the end of the line in the vsh.txt
http://www.pspgen.com/ultimate-vsh-menu ... 89818.html

- remove a file in the flash1, which contain recovery settings, with pspfiler. But i dont remember the file, and i prefer you chose the first solution, without risks :)

ok I'll try to install it then.
one more question, am I able to uninstall it afterwards (like cfw 5.03gen-c(full) that gives you the option to do so)?

This is a plugin, it's just a file on your MS (so if you remove the file : the plugin is not loaded).

By the way, to load the plugin (after put it on your MS, and edited the vsh.txt), you should lauch and quit a game. When the XMB is reloaded, the plugin should work (select).
