Is there any way to permanently hack 2004 with Ta-088v3 yet? I've been looking on forum but i really couldn't find "Search" option.
I've seen that 2000 with Ta-088v3 and 6.20 firmware is hackable, but will it be a permanent hack? If so, do i need to upgrade 5.03->6.20 or is there another way?

I still use TN-D without the patch. the patch says flashable PSPs, and then I see 300x users and such claiming it works. I don'tt really trust the patch myself. but you can try it if you like.

There's no reason not to trust this patch, unless you are a desperate GEN fanboy.

Tested the 6.20 TN D permanent patch on two brites and a psp GO! and no brick at all.

Yet, best option for you is to remain on 5.03 and launch the 5.03 GEN C for HEN; the LCFw is now signed and can be launched directly from the xmb within a few seconds, which makes a permanent patch less relevant.

5.03 GEN C is far more advanced than 6.20 TN and the Pro LCFw; increased plugins and homebrew compatibility, all emulators run at full speed without any problem, you can use Dax's popsloader and enjoy ps1 emulation, patched isos work fine

Hate to break it to you.. but individual results may vary? it says not to use it on a non-flashable PSP, thus I do not use it on my 2001v3

I am already using 5.03 GEN-C for HEN, but i have to patch it via HEN again every time i hard-off console (holding power for ~4secs - sometimes nescessary when it will crash while playing or so) or my battery discharge.
Also, i can't run couple of games (especially with PSX Emulator) cuz it's nescessary to reboot console. After launching these games (tested on Breath of Fire IV [Clown resources or so]) and reboot my soft version comes back into official 5.03.

So.. Is there any way to make 5.03 GEN-C permanent? Or how can i run games like above?
I don't want to risk psp brick while patching to perma 6.20 TN-D. I haven't found any official info that it works on 2004 with Ta-088v3...

Unfortunately, it is not possible to install the 5.03 GEN C for HEN permanently.

Why don't you use Dax Popsloader to run your psx games? Works fine with me

Actually BoF 4 [ResourcesRG] has psx-boot in it, so i can't run it...
And one more question.. Can i apply various themes or do i have to live with Original one?

I believe you can with a plugin, but I don't follow that, sorry
