What exactly is the XGEN PANDORA V5 option, in the 5.50 Gen-d3 update?

I mean, I know it obviously makes your battery an XGEN PANDORA battery, but what do they do...?

It's an option to convert "Despertar del cemeterio" into "Xgen pandora updater".
So, after that, you can directly install the 5.50GEN-D3 with a pandora battery, and debrick or flash official firmware directly into 5.50GEN-D3.

Hmm, so... I just made a dump of 5.50 Gen-d2, now I'm flashing to 5.50Gen-d3. Do I make a Nand dump of that too? And then I can switch back and forth easily?

Just DON'T use my Nand dumps on other PSP's, right?

so sir meaning it will replace the resurrection.prx in DC8 and it will become resurrection.prx of Gen-D3??

Yeah that's it, the original resurrection.prx of DC8 will be renamed for backup purposes to resurrection-m33.prx ( not sure about the name but i know its renamed not overwritten).

restoring nand dumps are only supposed to be used in emergency situations. the process is not something to be taken lightly, as overuse could cause problems to your psp.

you can easily switch back and forth between 5.50 gen-d2 and 5.50 gen-d3 by simply running the respective update (either 5.50 gen-d2 or 5.50 gen-d3).
