i'm trying to do the sound reactive LED mod myselve, but it didn't work, results below

1. dont know what i did, but now the speakers doesnt produce the right sound. if i put sound to max, it'll have some satic noise once in a while when 'm playing music, earphones works fine, just the speakers dont have any sound, the speakers themselves are working

2. before i killed the speaker sounds, the LED won't go on for some reason

*i didn't solder anything on, i used a bread board

if possible plz tell me what i did wrong and how to fix it

you don't need the 100 Ohm resistor
the emitter of the 2222 have to be sold on the (-) pole of the led.

Check polarity of the leds (not mentionned on your schematic) and check for shorts between wires too

in my oppinion the LM386 gave better results (especialy the Osole version) than the 2222

yea, i don't have access to LM386's atm, so i'm using 2222

i see, i don't need the resistor and the transistor's facing the wrong side
so i've done more reasearch and found this, is this correct?

i never do it with transistors (i use lm386) but just be carreful about the emiter position and i'll work
