music prx is a homebrew app that lets you listen to music anywhere on xmb and in game. i installed this correctly and it didnt work. first i installed it on 5.50gen and then on 5.00m33. on both firmwares it crashes on the psp startup screen. does anyone have a solution for this?
i have already formatted flash1 and reset settings. it still doesn't work. help please. thanks.

nope. just tried that. disabled all plugins and still no luck. seen other peoples views on the internet and it works fine for them on 5.00m33.

music.prx sounds like its an old homebrew app. You got a date to verify or where you downloaded from? If it's from the 2.xx era, don't expect it to run.

In addition, make sure your not running any other plugins that might conflict with it.

Unless you ask the developer of the plugin to develop a new version so that it will be compatible with 5.55 GEN. This was also the case of other plugins that has a lower version / was developed for lower firmwares.

Music.prx works very well on both 5.00 M33 and 5.50 Gen. Maybe the 0.55 is just too old.

yeah, it could be that the homebrew is too old. there is a mod for it - 'MusicPRX Mod for CFWE Update 1'. this could work. other people do have a problem with this program but it is only minor, not like mine. btw this was released august 15 2007. it says its for fw 3.71m33 and that it should work for other cfw.
