Message How to load custom modules/prx's?
Hi,
I need help in how to load custom modules/prx's...
I'm trying to load a custom utility.prx, but i have no idea how to, (except for editing pspbtcnf, but I have no idea about how to edit it)

Any help would be appreicated, thanks!

P.S. I heard a loader could load it too, but I have no idea how to make that either. Thanks!

1°) put it in "ms0:/seplugins"
2°) create "vsh.txt" or "game.txt"
3°) add the line "ms0:/seplugins/utility.prx"
3°) activate in the recovery

Yes, the utility.prx in flash0.
I made a custom version of this.
I want this to be loaded, so how do I do this?

Nop if not possible to load it in plugins, its a module library, not module app.

No, you're misunderstanding me....
I dont want to load it in a plugin, I know you cant.

I want to load a custom module, (Specifically a custom utility.prx).

Any method would be fine at this point, I just know about editing pspbtcnf, and a loader can be made to do it, but not sure how to make that.
If you know any others, I'd be glad to hear them

I'll try telling you what I'm trying to test...
A hybrid 5.50/6.XX utility.prx is what I have which wad made in order to make BBS work...
Last time we used this for v1, I dont think it worked...

Are you sure it will work this way?

I can confirm replacing the utility.prx XLAAX´s talking in flash0 is unuseful. Anything chage, also, the game didn´t work.

I think:

1.The utility.prx maybe is broken (But the psp not block)
2.Something in the loading orden must be done to the functionality of the file.

sorry, i didn't understand it's for the "utility.prx" of the flash0. :lol:

if it's a custom "utility.prx", you can replace the original.
but, what do you mind when you say "custom" ?
for example, the "ultimate vsh menu" is a custom vsh menu but we can't delete the module "satelite.prx".

it's a module that is rewritten, not a plugin, the vsh menu is actually a plugin loaded from flash, hence it can be patched with a plugin. a module can't be loaded as a plugin.

I'd think the module you want to copy need the changes applied to the other PRXs to work, and therefore won't work with modules from the 5.50.
