Re: Buttons not responding while playing umd movies on D3
all your umd movies are not responding anymore? you sure you downloaded the final version of d3? there was one posted briefly full of bugs and on dec 16 they updated it to the final release and did you download it from pspgen? http://dls.pspgen.com/X/xgen-550gen-d3-final_1260992120.zipbut first press select to open the vsh menu and set all speeds( xmb and game) to 333/166 and try to play your movie again.

 Buttons not responding either.
I was on gen d-2. Saw the new release then My buttons apart from volume buttons have stopped working after updating to gen d-3(probably the beta release). In a game when you press the home button you can't even choose yes. I have tried various things as following but no result yet. Tried going back to D-2 but it just said corrupt file. Found the d-3 final release but same all the buttons but the volume not working. Tried to downgrade to 5.00 m33 via hellcat's recovery flasher but after loading I can't even come down to I agree button therefore I couldn't run it. So hopelessly tried the pandora and changed the CFW to 3.90 m33 but the button problem still persists. I don't know what else to try. I have followed all the instructions for d-3 I donno what went wrong. Found on google that this happened to many people. So that eliminates hardware problems. All those people can't have dropped their psp's right after updating to D-3. Heard there is a programme called key cleaner 1.4 to fix this. But the cure comes with risks they say that it can make the psp perma-brick. I'll be grateful if anyone can help or if this has happened to somebody else that they resolved it. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Buttons not responding while playing umd movies on D3
I am normally running iso games. But still the same result with an umd. Start button doesn't work to skip the intros. Select button doesn't work therefore can't go into vsh menu although enabled from the recovery menu.
Although direction buttons work in the game, when you press home button to exit the game, can't move between yes or no. (What I have realized is after pressing home to exit although I can't go on to yes, when you press up or down it works in the background in the game menu for instance one player, multiplayer etc.. )
Really weird problem.
