Hi, i was wondering if god eater's demo is working for somebody else, because it isnt for me O-o, after i press X and the psp word appear, the screen becomes green for a second, and then it just stays black

Hello Gen Staff.

First of all i would like to thank you for the firmware that you guys have just released. Though it works great with my Gundam Umd, it still doesn't work with evangelion jo.

The problem that im referring to is the one where when you start the game, and go through the beginning scenes and everything. Right after i talk to Misato(Purple Hair girl)(Also, when i say talk i'm not referring to a cutscene, but the player rather having to press circle to get through the conversation), so right after i talk to Misato, i always get sent back to the title screen.

Now, what i wanted to know is: Am i doing something wrong?

1- I'm using UMD
2- No plugins enabled
3- Default CPU/XMB speed.

So ya, just wondering if any of you guys have any solution.

Hello, the readme file of 5.03GEN-C mentions the MS speedup presence (though in beta), but so far I was unable to find any configuration entry which would enable or disable it, and when subjectively compared speed with CFW wth real MS speedup it really doesn't seem to be working.

Could please someone explain how is it?

The problem was in B too but I forgot to report
It s about the game worms 2-I think its in other game too
The game works perfectly on 5.50 GEN D2/D3 but on C/B wont boot -it says error -i'm not quite sure what is the number but U can test it yourself

Yes as others already mentioned here and there.. I can confirm issues with some (perhaps old) games' savedata. For example Killzone Liberation and Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron won't load their savedata in this CFW, doesn't matter how you set the UMD mode. They just report the data being corrupted.

And anyway that Star Wars game won't startup in NP9660 UMD mode and I have some belief that it did in 5.03 MHU - perhaps I'll try that later today.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PSX/PSP version from PSN) also doesn't start - compared to Star Wars in NP9660 mode where it just stops loading and you can actually get out of that - it crashes here completely (in both NP9660 and M33 Driver UMD modes).

EDIT: Back to 5.03MHU (CFWe 3.60) and all the above reported issues disappeared. Also that Star Wars game starts in NP9660 mode fine as I thought.

Any one from GEN team keep an eye on this tread?

It was probably already reported but i'll add my share

- Riviera the promised land, an old game, doesnt seem to work anymore with both M33 and SonyNP driver, error code 80020148, used to work on GEN A... stopped working in GEN B and C

- Valkyria Chronicles 2 demo seems to be booting (first and last thing i can see is a black screen with some kanjis and some trademarks like psp etc, should be the screen before the logos) but then goes back to the xmb, again tried both M33 and SonyNP, no luck. Error code 80010013

- Metal Slug XX works perfectly with M33, blackscreenodeaths with SonyNP forcing me to turn off and reflash, might be intended/onlyway, not sure

Other than that, everything else seems fine

Guys, try setting the Iso mode to normal. ( You can have any UMD in the UMD slot).
Thats the best comparability there is. Better than m33 noumd and all those other noumd drivers.
